That's why we have a robust schedule of events designed with you in mind. Join us for a visit, and tour the school The Wall Street Journal ranks as No. 1 in the state of Ohio among all universities - public or private - for student experience.

Go BG! Admissions Presentation and Campus Tour (Great for first-time visitors!)
Offered Monday – Friday and select Saturdays Includes a 30-minute admissions presentation and 90-minute, general campus tour. (Great for first-time visitors)- Offered Monday – Friday and select Saturdays
- Includes a 30-minute admissions presentation and 90-minute, general campus tour. This is a group experience; the size of the group will vary.
Falcon Fridays for High School Seniors
- Offered on the following Fridays: April 12, 19 and 26. Select the date on the calendar below to learn more and register.
- Falcon Fridays are reserved only for high school seniors planning to attend BGSU in 2024, and their guests. Any non-senior registrations will be automatically moved to the Go BG! Admissions Presentation and Campus Tour, as space allows.
- Falcon Fridays are large group experiences, with many guests in attendance.
- Explore a few first-year residence halls; showrooms will be available in select residence halls.
- Join a general campus tour led by a current BGSU student (great for first-time visitors!)
- Attend new presentations on topics like financial aid, important next steps and planning for your first semester as a Falcon.
- Visit the exhibitor area to connect with areas like the Honors College, Club Sports, Campus Activities, academic colleges and more.
- Connect with the Office of Admissions to take care of important next steps, like completing your housing payment or signing up for orientation.
Summer Destination: BGSU Events
These summer events are a great way for new high school seniors to kick off their college search with BGSU.While we finalize the agenda for these events, save the date! We're hosting Destination: BGSU several times throughout the summer so you can choose the date that works best.

Know Before You Go: BGSU Visit Tips
May - August is "summer session" at BGSU.
- While summer is a great time to visit, campus tends to be quiet during this time of year, with many of our students and faculty spending time away from BGSU.
The Office of Admissions will not be available for visits on the following dates this summer:
- Saturday, May 25 - Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day
- Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth
- Thursday, July 4 - Sunday, July 7, in observance of Independence Day
- Friday, August 16 - Sunday, August 25, as campus will be preparing for and hosting new student move-in
Special Requests & Personalized Visits
- Visits to specific buildings and day-of requests for meetings are difficult to accommodate, especially over the summer when most faculty are off campus.
- If you’re interested in a personalized experience, please reach out to your BGSU admissions counselor at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Personalized meetings and tours cannot be accommodated on Saturdays, holidays or during large visit days (like Presidents Day, Falcon Friday or Destination: BGSU.)
- Personalized meetings are extremely limited over the summer (May - August) as most faculty are off campus, focused on summer courses or summer research/projects.
- General campus tours are approximately 90-minutes and include time outside as you visit spaces like our student recreation center, the student union, residence halls, outdoor spaces and a general academic buildings.
- We recommend dressing for the weather, wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a refillable water bottle, especially on hot days.
- Golf cart tours are not available.
