    There's no better way to decide whether a school is going to be the right fit than to visit and explore (and sometimes it takes a few visits to make that decision!)

    That's why we have a robust schedule of events designed with you in mind.  Join us for a visit, and tour the school The Wall Street Journal ranks as No. 1 in the state of Ohio among all universities - public or private - for student experience.

    Go BG! Admissions Presentation and Campus Tour (Great for first-time visitors)Offered Monday – Friday and select Saturdays Includes a 30-minute admissions presentation and 90-minute, general campus tour.  (Great for first-time visitors)

    • Includes a 30-minute admissions presentation and 90-minute, general campus tour. This is a group experience; the size of the group will vary.
    Falcon Fridays for High School Seniors
    • Offered on the following Fridays: March 22 and 29; April 5, 12, 19 and 26. Select the date on the calendar below to learn more and register.
    • Falcon Fridays are reserved only for high school seniors planning to attend BGSU in 2024, and their guests. Any non-senior registrations will be automatically moved to the Go BG! Admissions Presentation and Campus Tour, as space allows.
    • Falcon Fridays are large group experiences, with many guests in attendance.
    Whether this is your first visit to campus or a return visit, Falcon Friday is an excellent time for high school seniors to finalize their plans for the fall.
    • Explore a few first-year residence halls; showrooms will be available in select residence halls.
    • Join a general campus tour led by a current BGSU student (great for first-time visitors!)
    • Attend new presentations on topics like financial aid, important next steps and planning for your first semester as a Falcon.
    • Visit the exhibitor area to connect with areas like the Honors College, Club Sports, Campus Activities, academic colleges and more.
    • Connect with the Office of Admissions to take care of important next steps, like completing your housing payment or signing up for orientation.
    Destination: BGSU for High School Juniors
    • Offered on Friday, March 15. Select this date on the calendar below to learn more and register.
    • Destination: BGSU is reserved only for high school juniors or younger. Any other registrations will be automatically cancelled.
    It's never too early to start your college search and we're here to help you kick things off with Destination: BGSU. 
    • Start your day in the Exhibitor Area to connect with representatives from various academic departments and student services
    • Work your way through a few helpful presentations developed with YOU in mind:
      • Go BG! Admissions Presentation
      • Your Scholarship Search: Tips & Advice
      • The BGSU Difference Panel, featuring representatives from the  FLY Program, Life Design and more
    • After the presentations, you'll head to an Academic Info Session that best represents your interests.
    • Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the Academic Info Sessions.
    • After lunch, join a general campus tour. The student-led, 90-minute campus tour will include stops inside a few student life spaces, including our Student Union, Recreation Center, a residence hall.
    • A variety of optional tours/info sessions are offered after the campus tour, as well.
    Showcase EventsShowcase Events are small visit experiences designed to highlight specific majors or programs on campus. We'll host a few Showcase Events this spring, and will update the information below as we confirm dates.

    Know Before You Go: BGSU Visit TipsSaturday Visits
    • While Saturdays are a great time to visit, campus tends to be quiet, especially in the morning.
    Limited-access Dates
    • March 4 - 8 - BGSU Spring Break: Campus is open, but classes are not in session; most faculty and students are off campus. It will be quiet around campus during your visit, and access to some spaces (including dining halls) may be limited.
    • Monday, April 8 - Closed. No visits will be offered on this date.
    • If a date is not listed on the calendar, no visits are available.
    Special Requests & Personalized Visits
    • Visits to specific buildings and day-of requests for meetings are difficult to accommodate, especially over the weekend when most faculty are off campus.
    • If you’re interested in a personalized experience, please reach out to your BGSU admissions counselor at least 2 weeks in advance.
    • Personalized meetings and tours cannot be accommodated on Saturdays, holidays or during large visit days (like Presidents Day, Falcon Friday or Destination: BGSU.)
    Visits and tours will take place, rain or shine, snow or heat!
    • General campus tours are approximately 90-minutes and include time outside as you visit spaces like our student recreation center, the student union, residence halls, outdoor spaces and a general academic buildings.
    • We recommend dressing for the weather, wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a refillable water bottle, especially on hot days.
    • Golf cart tours are not available.
    Summer 2024 Visits
