Group Visits at Bowling Green State University

    BGSU Group Visits are offered on select Wednesday mornings throughout February, March and April. 

    Group Visits are offered for high school students only. If you are interested in a visit for elementary students, middle school students or alumni please contact

    Please review the information below carefully before registering.
    Group visits are only offered on the dates noted on the calendar below. If you are interested in a date that is not listed, please contact to discuss options. We cannot accommodate group visits on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays or dates when we’re hosting large events (like the Presidents Day Open House on Monday, Feb. 20). 

    Your visit may be combined with another group visiting campus. As a result, the agenda for group visits is set and cannot be adjusted.

    9:30 a.m.
    Your group arrives to BGSU for check-in. Please be on-time for your visit. We may not be able to provide a visit if your group arrives late.

    9:45 am. - 10:30 a.m.
    Go BG! Admissions Presentation, hosted by a BGSU staff member

    10:30 a.m. – Noon
    Campus Tour, led by current BGSU students

    Optional lunch (must be arranged in advance; note interest when registering) 
    Depart from BGSU  

    Chaperones are required.
    Groups must provide 1 chaperone for every 10 students in the group.
    Chaperones must stay with their group at all times.


    If your group is interested in dining on campus, we can make arrangements at our all-you-care-to-eat dining facility, Social House at The Oaks.

    Payment for lunch must be provided by your group @ $11, plus tax, per person.

    Lunch reservations must be arranged in advance; use the registration form to let us know if you plan to dine on campus during the visit.

    Dining on campus will extend your itinerary; you should plan for a 1 p.m. departure.

    Once you’ve completed your registration, your visit is secured and a confirmation email will be sent to the email provided in the registration. 

    Please review your confirmation email carefully for important drop off and parking instructions.


    All cancellations and changes must be requested through email. This ensures a prompt and accurate response regarding your visit.

    Important changes could include:

    • Increases/decreases to the total number of students visiting (it's important we have an accurate count as we schedule staff and student tour guides for your group)
    • Changes to your arrival time
    • Cancellations
    • Changes to your lunch plans
    • Weather delays

    Please direct your changes/cancellations to as soon as possible. Our Group Visit Planners share access to this email account, so we can act quickly when your message comes through.

    Our registration requires the cell phone number for the primary chaperone attending with the group. Our team will contact this number if anything comes up the day of your visit.
