    BGSU Tour for Transfer StudentsOffered on select Mondays, Friday and Saturdays throughout the Fall

    This visit experience includes a 90-minute campus tour, led by a current BGSU student.

    Come ready with questions for your tour guide, who will be happy to tell you all about life at BGSU. Tours will include a visit to our student recreation center, the student union, a traditional residence hall, the Maurer Center (home of the Schmidthorst College of Business and classrooms for students from any major), outdoor spaces and a general academic building.
    Transfer Student Info Session & Campus Tour 
    The Transfer Student Info Session & Campus Tour is an expanded visit for students interested in transferring to BGSU.

    This visit includes a 30-minute info session hosted by the BGSU Transfer Team. 

    Immediately following the presentation, you and your guests will enjoy a 90-minute campus tour, led by a current BGSU student.

    After your tour, connect with a Transfer Admissions Counselor in-person. They're ready to answer questions and, if you haven't already, they can help you apply to BGSU.

    Preview Day
    Hosted twice this Fall - Saturday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Dec. 7  
    Choose the date that works best for you on the calendar below to learn more and register.

    Preview Day is a great opportunity get a true sense of life at BGSU and explore at your own pace. Designed to be a "choose your own adventure" event, you're able to choose from a wide range of activities - this is your visit, your way!
    • Visit with academic departments and student service areas in our exhibitor area
    • Take a closer look at select academic spaces, labs and learning environments during special activities hosted by academic areas
    • Attend information sessions on topics like transferring to BGSU, study abroad, living on campus and more
    • Take a campus tour, which will include visits to classrooms, academic building, the recreation center (just to name a few)
    • Explore a variety of residence halls
    The full schedule of activities will be emailed to all registered guests the week of the event, so you can start planning your day. 

    Preview Day is a large-scale event with many guests attending.

    The Office of Admissions will not be available for visits on the following dates this summer:
    • Friday, Aug. 16 - Sunday, Aug. 25 - new student move-in
    • Saturday, Aug. 31 - Monday, Sept. 2 - Labor Day
    • Saturday, Sept. 28 - BGSU Homecoming
    • Saturday, Oct. 5 - Fall Break
    • Monday, Nov. 11 - Veteran's Day
    • Wednesday, Nov. 27 - Sunday, Dec. 1 - Thanksgiving Break
    • Saturday, December 21 - Wednesday, Jan. 1 - Winter Break
    Special Requests & Personalized VisitsVisits and tours will take place, rain or shine, snow or heat!
    • General campus tours are approximately 90-minutes and include time outside as you visit spaces like our student recreation center, the student union, residence halls, outdoor spaces and a general academic buildings.
    • We recommend dressing for the weather, wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a refillable water bottle, especially on hot days.
    • Golf cart tours are not available.
