The Honors College is a small, intentional community of high achieving students - exceptional scholars who embody academic excellence. We think you would make an excellent addition to our community. Our small class sizes invite thoughtful, spirited interaction among students who draw strength, focus, and inspiration from one another. We're better individually because of who we are collectively. Some of the privileges of the Honors College include smaller classes, the opportunity to develop mentoring relationships with your faculty members, priority registration, and individualized attention from Honors College staff. You also will graduate with University Honors with the highest distinction on campus. (b) The completion of at least 16 semester hours of university Honors courses, including the Honors core sequence (HNRS 2010 and one of the following: 2020, 2400, 2500, or 2600) and the two-course Honors Project sequence (HNRS 4980 and 4990) (c) The completion of six additional Honors semester hours or experiential learning units (d) At least a "B" in each Honors course. (e) Complete at least 12 Honors credits by the end of the 4th semester enrolled in the Honors College. Failure to complete any of the requirements may result in probation or dismissal from the Honors College and prevent the student from graduating with University Honors.
