BGSU's Pathway Program is a one-year program that offers a pathway to attending BGSU to select students who may not meet typical admission criteria.

We know you might have questions about your admission to BGSU through the Pathway program. Join us for Pathway Visit Day to learn more about the Pathway experience and to explore campus in-person.

Here's what you can expect if you join us at Pathway Visit Day:

Start your visit in the Exhibitor Area to connect with representatives like Residence Life and Financial Aid. Arrive early so you have plenty of time to explore the exhibitor area!

Then, you'll work your way through a few helpful presentations developed with YOU in mind:

Overview of the Pathway Program, including expectations and opportunities
Student Financial Aid Info Session
Next Steps to Becoming a Falcon
Pathway Panel, featuring current BGSU students in the Pathway program (bring your questions!)

After the presentations, you can choose from a few optional activities, including:

A student-led, 75-minute, general campus tour, including stops inside a few student life spaces, including our Student Union, Recreation Center, a residence hall and newly-opened Maurer Center (great for first-time visitors!)
Walk-in appointments with Accessibility Services; staff will be available to discuss possible academic and housing accommodations and resources available to students with disabilities.
Falcon Learning Your Way (FLY) Program information session for students with ADHD and learning differences.

At the end of the formal program, you’ll have the opportunity to join an optional, general campus tour. This is a 75-minute group tour led by a current BGSU student with stop in our recreation center, student union, classroom spaces, dining facility and residence hall.
