BGSU Presidents Day Open House: Volunteer Sign-Up

On Monday, Feb. 17, the BGSU Office of Admissions is hosting our annual Presidents Day Open House for high school seniors. This is the largest prospective student visit day of the year, with thousands of visitors exploring campus through tours, open houses, classroom visits and presentations all over campus. The Presidents Day Open House will provide Future Falcons a glimpse at life here on campus, and allow them to discover the wonderful opportunities available to BGSU students.

This event is a huge endeavor, and volunteers are a big part of why this day is so successful.

We are looking for volunteers to assist in various locations around campus.

What does a Presidents Day Volunteer Do?
    • As a volunteer, your role will be to provide directions, answer questions and offer a warm welcome to our visitors.
    • Volunteers are positioned at key locations around campus, so guests can feel comfortable asking for directions.
    • Volunteers are encouraged to wear orange BGSU gear, so guests can easily find you for assistance.
    Who should volunteer?
    • Any faculty, staff, current student or alumni are welcome to volunteer.
    • This is a great opportunity for representatives of student organizations to connect with families while welcoming them to campus or providing directions.
    • It's important that volunteers are familiar with campus and can provide directions to various buildings.
